We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Medical Assistant to join our Allergy, Immunology & Respiratory Practice. You must have a strong clinical background and enjoy patient contact. Leadership ability is a must. We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure.

Job Duties Include:

Patient intake & vitals Allergy testing and pulmonary function testing Extract preparation Administer subcutaneous allergy shots Administer IM and Nebulized Medications Prescription refills Prior authorizations Patient Calls Utilize electronic EMR Accurate and timely documentation, data entry, and reporting

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Certification in the state of Illinois in good standing preferred Family Practice or Internal Medicine experience Allergy/Asthma/Immunology experience would be beneficial but will train the right candidate BLS Certified Requires good computer and typing skills Ability to work independently with good nursing judgment, self-motivation and self-confidence Ability to travel to Satellite office locations.
