In this vital role, you will support healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional medical services across various settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care facilities, and hospitals. What you'll do Assist in patient intake by gathering medical histories and vital signs to ensure comprehensive care. Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and support during examinations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and manage medical terminology. Perform basic life support procedures and assist during emergency situations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct routine procedures such as X-rays and assist in the operating room (OR) as needed. Engage with patients to deliver outstanding service, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy. Support administrative tasks, including ICD coding and managing appointment schedules. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols. Basic qualifications Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide informed patient care. Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with EHR systems for efficient documentation. Ability to perform vital sign assessments and basic life support techniques. Preferred qualifications Experience in dermatology, internal medicine, or emergency medicine settings. Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and level I or II trauma center operations. Background in geriatrics, medical-surgical care, or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) environments.
