This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient health outcomes while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a vibrant clinic. Pay is negotiable depending on level of experience and credentials. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify information, and assist with the intake process to ensure accurate documentation. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates efficiently and accurately. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and assisting with basic needs. Support physicians and nurses with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection. Operate and maintain medical equipment such as autoclave, EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, and other diagnostic tools. Assist with ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for documentation and billing purposes, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Manage medical supplies inventory, restock exam rooms, and support infection control protocols across inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Administer injections to patients Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling Review and prepare patient charts prior to appointments Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Dispense and track in house medications Skills Medical Assistant certification preferred, but willing to train (CMA, RMA, RN, or EMT) Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred Experience in weight loss, hormone therapy, aesthetics, or wellness a plus Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills Ability to perform clinical procedures such as intake assessments, medication administration, and vital signs measurement confidently. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to clients Experience supporting medical-surgical units or internal medicine departments; familiarity with ICD coding is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments like outpatient clinics or hospital floors.
