  • How you make a difference
  • As a Medical Assistant, you willbe responsible forassistingin the delivery of patient care by gathering information during the clinical process under the supervision of Registered Nurses(RN).
You will work closely with all nurses, helping them to perform activitiescommensuratewith your education anddemonstratedcompetencies. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and that medical procedures run smoothly.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Provide clinical care to patients by implementing established policies and procedures and intervening with proper techniques and safety precautions.
+ Verify medications, gather patient history information, and makeappropriate referralsfor follow-up. + Assisthealthcare practitioners and respond to patient crises as per the site's policy and procedure. + Adhere to infection control principles,provideemotional and physical comfort to patients, andmaintainworking areas, supplies, and equipment in good working order. + Attendmandatory staff meetings and training andadhereto the designated work schedule to ensure continuity of patient care andmaintainthe staffing matrix for the client.

  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education + Successful completion of an accredited CMA course.
Experience + Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications + Currently certified as a Medical Assistant in the State if certification is required by the State or the facility. + For states that do not require this position to be certified, a certification is not required. + Obtain and maintain CPR certification (if required). This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
