Evansville, IN Overview:
Our clinical trial practice in Evansville is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support study volunteers with a warm, welcoming, patient-focused approach. This role combines clinical duties with strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Position Offers:
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Competitive pay: $19-22 per hour (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement savings plan with match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and take vital signs Perform phlebotomy Obtain medical histories and current medication information Count used medication for clinical trial documentation Conduct EKGs Maintain accurate and timely documentation Build rapport with volunteer patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience
Qualifications:
Active, current Medical Assistant (MA) licensure in Indiana Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Comfortable performing phlebotomy and EKGs Warm, patient-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
