The Plastic Surgery Center is a boutique, board-certified plastic surgery practice built for patients who want more than a clinical transaction. It is for the patient who wants to be heard, informed, and genuinely cared for. Our Medical Assistant is a hands-on, essential part of making that experience feel seamless, from the moment a patient is rooming through every step of the visit.

THE ROLE

As our Medical Assistant, you'll work closely with our Physician-Owner and Nurse to keep clinical visits running smoothly. You will assist in rooming patients, preparing for procedures, assisting with injectables and in-office treatments, handling sterile processing and instrument care, assisting with wound care, surgery scheduling, and triaging phone calls. This is a true clinical role inside a small, closely coordinated team, with real visibility and room to grow as the practice does.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

— Room patients, take and document vitals, and prepare exam and treatment rooms for consultations and procedures. — Assist the Physician-Owner and Nurse with in-office procedures and injectables, including instrument setup and sterile technique. — Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment consistent with the practice's infection-control protocols. — Support patient flow throughout the day, helping keep visits on schedule without ever feeling rushed. — Assist with clinical documentation and EHR data entry under the Nurse's and Physician-Owner's direction. — Help manage clinical supply inventory, including injectables and treatment room stock. — Assist with wound care at the Physician-Owner direction. — Assist with surgery scheduling — Protect every patient's privacy and confidentiality as a matter of course, not an afterthought. — Triaging phone calls

WHAT YOU BRING

— Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CMA or RMA certification preferred. — Experience in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics setting is a plus, but not required for the right candidate. — Comfort with sterile technique, instrument handling, and assisting with in-office procedures. — A calm, warm bedside manner to help patients feel at ease, especially during procedures. — Strong attention to detail and comfort learning EHR and clinical documentation systems. — Discretion and sound judgment around sensitive, confidential patient information.
