Overview Join Our Team! We are a growing Pain Management practice seeking a dependable, compassionate, and highly motivated Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our team on a full-time basis. We believe our employees deserve a healthy work-life balance. This position is Monday through Friday, with no weekend or evening hours. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all clinical supplies are stocked and organized for efficient patient flow. Assisting the provider with examinations and procedures Performing injections and other clinical duties within scope of practice Support patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate service to enhance patient satisfaction. Manage medical records accurately, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures in compliance with health information standards. Conduct patient assessments related to physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology to assist in diagnosis preparation. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of patient encounters and medical records management. Hands-on experience with techniques, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring. Knowledge of medical terminology across specialties Experience supporting inpatient care or outpatient procedures within hospital or clinic settings is highly valued. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Strong understanding of ICD coding standards and medical documentation practices to ensure accurate billing and recordkeeping. Greeting and checking in/out patients Answering and appropriately directing phone calls Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments Verifying demographics and insurance information Obtaining insurance cards and required documentation Collecting copays and patient balances Assisting with referrals and authorizations Managing patient messages and requests Scanning and accurately documenting records in the EMR Providing excellent customer service to patients Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference! Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
