Description Ready to make a difference in patients' lives every day? At Konza Prairie Community Health Center, our Medical Assistants are at the heart of care—supporting providers, improving access, and creating a positive patient experience. We're looking for a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team! This position supports both our Junction City and Manhattan clinic locations and requires the ability to travel between sites. Schedule & Perks Full-time, Monday-Friday Clinics close at 2 PM every Friday Up to 200 hours (5 weeks) PTO annually Employer retirement contributions Meaningful, mission-driven work Key Responsibilities Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection Administer injections and medications as ordered Triage patient calls (urgent vs. non-urgent needs) Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups Communicate with pharmacies for prescriptions and refills Document accurately in the EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks) Educate patients on care plans and next steps Travel between Konza clinic locations. Requirements Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience Current vaccinations per ACIP guidelines Ability to travel between Konza clinics.
