We're seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers and help deliver exceptional patient care both in the clinic and via phone triage. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and want to work with a dedicated healthcare team, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Escort patients to and from exam rooms Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed Prepare, stock, and maintain clean exam and treatment rooms Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment Handle phone calls—notify patients of test results, orders, and prescription info Schedule procedures, office visits, and assist with referrals Manage prior authorizations, including appeals, copay card registration, and coordination with specialty pharmacies Support other administrative tasks as assigned What We're Looking For Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Positive, friendly, and compassionate attitude Adaptable and comfortable with changes in healthcare practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Computer savvy with prior EMR experience preferred (experience with eClinicalWorks a plus!)
