POSITION SUMMARY

Provide patient care with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression. This position will be focused on working as a coordinator for our TMS program. In this position you will administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification Preferred. A minimum 1 year of experience working in the mental health field is preferred. Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations is a must.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete prior authorizations for TMS services, complete benefits investigations, work with insurance companies to coordinate services. Schedule consultations for TMS candidates. Work directly with the treating physician to schedule mapping appointments and keep schedule organized. Schedule and administer daily treatments to patients and monitor for medical symptoms during treatments. Explain TMS procedures to patients. Work directly with clinicians to educate them on the benefits of TMS and the criteria needed for patients to receive treatment. Network within the community to market and grow TMS program. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Maintain the TMS website and electronic referrals. Scan and upload TMS documents into charts. Communicate with Neurostar representative as needed. Perform other job duties as assigned.
