• Rotating shifts, some weekends Nexus Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment program in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). We provide Acute Treatment Services (ATS/detox) and Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS), 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most of the people who come through our doors are covered by MassHealth, and too often that has meant being told there is no bed, no time, or no one available. We are building a top-tier clinical program for exactly those people — the kind of care you would want for your own family, offered to the people who usually get the least of it. If that is the work you want to be doing, we would like to meet you. What you will do Take vital signs, blood sugars, and pulse oximetry, and report anything outside normal limits to the nurse right away. Draw labs, collect and log specimens, and track results back to the provider. Set patients and clinical space up for admission physicals and provider rounds. Keep the medical record, clinical supplies, and medication room organized and stocked. Schedule outside appointments and coordinate transportation. Support infection control and universal precautions throughout the building. What you need High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a medical assistant program; CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA certification strongly preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification; phlebotomy skills preferred. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Accuracy, follow-through, and comfort in a busy clinical setting.
