Week Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant will support Lexington Primary Care by performing routine clinical and administrative duties, including taking blood pressure, vital signs, height and weight, EKGs, phlebotomy, point-of-care (POC) testing, scheduling diagnostic and lab tests, maintaining exam rooms and medical supplies, and supporting patient care operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
Experience taking blood pressure and performing general MA duties.
Epic experience required.
Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required.
Experience scheduling diagnostic and lab tests required.
Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered.
Must live within 20 miles of the facility.
BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission.
