Job Description

Overview New England Women's Healthcare Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM New England Women's Healthcare is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a busy OB/GYN office and able to manage multiple responsibilities while providing excellent patient service. Responsibilities Process and track FMLA, disability, and medical forms Obtain and track prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and testing Facilitate patient referrals , including sending records and following up on appointments Follow up on outstanding labs, Pap results, diagnostic testing, and diagnostic mammograms Schedule patient appointments, testing, and follow-up visits Assist with patient telephone triage and route clinical concerns appropriately Process prescription refill requests and communicate with pharmacies as needed Monitor messages, tasks, and outstanding items to ensure timely follow-up Document patient communication and follow-up in the EMR Provide administrative and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and the practice team Qualifications Medical office or Medical Assistant experience preferred OB/GYN experience a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with EMR systems preferred

$22.00 - $24.50 per hour
