Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and fast-paced Medical Assistant to join our small cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support while helping maintain an efficient workflow and delivering excellent patient care in a busy office environment. Responsibilities Room patients and record vital signs, medical history, and medications Assist the cardiologist with patient exams and procedures Perform EKGs and prepare patients for diagnostic testing Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups Answer phone calls, handle patient questions, and coordinate referrals Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) Assist with prescription refills and insurance authorizations Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized Work efficiently in a fast-paced office setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Experience Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required. Previous cardiology or medical office experience is a plus but not required.
