Job Description
Sheepscot Valley Health Center is seeking to hire a dependable Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and experienced team of medical professionals. The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, provide quality patient care, and be committed to the team is essential. Responsibilities include triage, immunizations, chronic disease management, laboratory functions, recording medical information, direct patient care and education, and medical record documentation. The selected candidate will receive competitive salary and benefits, and pension plan with employer match. The salary range for this role is $18.50-$27.75. This range reflects the full scope of the position across multiple experience levels and pay is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Sheepscot Valley Health Center (Coopers Mills, Maine), founded in 1980, is a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers - a Federally Qualified Health Center consisting of twelve community health centers located across Central and Western Maine. The health center is located in a close-knit, supportive community ideally located between the state capital of Augusta, home to the University of Maine-Augusta and numerous shopping opportunities, and only 30 minutes from the beautiful Maine mid-coast region dotted with lighthouses and sea-side villages.
