The ideal candidate Has medical assisting experience in clinical and or administrative settings is required Is comfortable with phlebotomy blood draws and lab processes, and can move with accuracy and confidence Can coordinate prescriptions and communicate professionally with pharmacies Is organized, detail oriented, and calm under pressure Enjoys working with people and delivering an expecptional patient experience Is curious about functional medicine and committed to learning as the field grows Wants to grow with a high functioning and fast-paced clinic that is setting a new standard for care
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Perform blood draws, injections, and specimen collection for lab testing Prepare, process, and track lab requisitions with accuracy and urgency Room patients, take vitals, and document medical history clearly and completely Assist providers during exams and procedures Support patient education related to plans, labs, and next steps within your scope Coordinate prescription calls to pharmacies as directed by providers Administrative and Front Desk Welcome patients and ensure a smooth, calm, professional check in process Schedule, confirm, and coordinate visits, labs, and follow-ups with strong attention to detail Answer phone calls and patient messages with clarity, warmth, and follow-through Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the EMR Manage incoming and outgoing lab reports and ensure they are routed correctly Confirm prerequisites are complete before visits so appointments stay on time Monitor clinical supplies and place orders so the clinic is always ready Patient Experience Ownership Make sure every patient knows what happens next before they leave Reduce friction by anticipating needs, questions, and common issues Catch problems early and solve them fast, labs, scheduling, paperwork, or communication Help patients feel supported between visits through organized outreach and responsiveness Growth and Continuous Improvement Look for ways to improve clinic efficiency and raise the quality of the patient experience Support seamless workflows for the provider team Collaborate with teammates to maintain high standards and consistent execution Required Skills and Qualifications Medical assisting experience in clinical and or administrative settings required Medical Assistant certification CCMA, RMA or equivalent preferred Phlebotomy experience required, or ability to demonstrate competency quickly during training Experience coordinating prescriptions and working with pharmacies preferred Comfort with EMR systems preferred but not required Strong communication, professionalism, and patient centered mindset Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Training and growth opportunities in functional and regenerative medicine A mission driven team with high standards and a supportive culture A front row seat to a clinic that is expanding and redefining what great care looks like Real responsibility and the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day
