Job Description

Job description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist and Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care by greeting and rooming patients, taking vitals, entering patient health information into EMR, as well as other duties to prepare for the physician's visit. Additionally, answering basic patient care questions in person and via phone, verifying insurance, collecting copays.
Job Duties/Responsibilities :
1. Assist with answering phones, prescription refills, appointment scheduling, and other front desk responsibilities. 2. Assist with upkeep of patient records, including EMR, drug refills, etc. 3. Maintain and stock examination rooms. 4. Greet patients and direct to appropriate examination room. 5. Obtain the patient vitals and record in the patient record. 6. Review and update medication and allergy list. 7. Administer lab procedures as required (injections, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and autoclave). 8. Assist Physician/Nurse Practitioners/Research Nurses with procedures. 9. Access to Personal Health Information (PHI). 10. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Medical Assistant certification preferred Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills 1+ years' experience in medical setting preferred Experience with
