FULL TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Lung Allergy & Sleep Medicine Center is seeking a full time experienced and certified medical assistant who assumes all of the regular responsibilities and duties of a medical assistant. This candidate is cross trained to perform duties in both front and back office. Medical Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Notes brief history or reason for visit in the patient's chart.
  • Takes and records height, weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, temperature, oxygen saturation while at rest and during exertion.
  • Records patient's past medical, surgical and social history, and medications in Epic
  • Administer injections and teach samples the practice provides to patients
  • Prepares exam rooms for patient examinations, keeping rooms neat, clean and stocked with supplies
  • Check in and checkout patients, answer the telephone , make and cancel patient appointments, triage calls, make confirmations calls and other assignments as needed.
Position Qualifications:
Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, have excellent telephone and customer service and time management skills. Be organized, and extremely professional. Monday - Thursday
NO FRIDAYS OR WEEKENDS 8AM-5PM
Candidate will be provided training where necessary . Only serious candidates need apply

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
