In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to the doctors and nurses by performing clinical and administrative tasks. You will help create a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth daily operations within our medical practice. Duties Assist healthcare providers by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Manage electronic health records efficiently by documenting patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans. Support patient intake processes by updating medical histories, and answering patient inquiries professionally. Administer medications and injections under the supervision of licensed practitioners while following proper medication administration procedures. Maintain organized medical records, ensure compliance with ICD coding standards for diagnoses, and assist with medical documentation for billing purposes. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns promptly, explaining procedures clearly, and fostering a positive experience. Support medical office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing inventory of medical supplies, and coordinating referrals or follow-up visits. Qualifications Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with familiarity in medical assisting duties. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) management tools. Experience with medication administration procedures across inpatient or outpatient settings. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with hospital experience or inpatient settings is advantageous.
