Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support the delivery of quality patient care. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll assist in patient examinations, procedures, and overall care coordination, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience. Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed. Perform administrative tasks to support efficient clinic operations. Contribute to a compassionate and patient-centered care environment. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. Must Successfully completeBenefits
