Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our medical facility. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Collect and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform basic life support (BLS) in emergency situations. Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle medical administrative support tasks. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and relevant clinical practices. Support various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, urgent care, and inpatient care as needed. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care. Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to various specialties. Knowledge of dermatology practices and procedures is a plus. Familiarity with physiology knowledge to assist in patient assessments. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Experience in urgent care or internal medicine settings is preferred. Ability to perform medical administrative support tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
