Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare delivery.

What You Will DoGreet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.

Measure and record vital signs, preparing patients for examinations and procedures.

Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.

Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and enhance patient care.

QualificationsWhat You Will NeedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.

Additional Requirements:

Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). ORGraduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. ORCurrent Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). ORLicensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. ORMilitary trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.

Preferred QualificationsBasic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
