Job Description:
The Medical Assistant facilitates patient care by assisting patient through system. Supports clinical staff and maintain office environment.
Desired/Required Qualifications:
Education:
Successful completion of Medical Assistant program or comparable work experience in a medical office.
Experience:
Two years of work experience in similar job or work environment is preferred. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1. Perform routine administrative and patient care supportive duties throughout the practice to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients. 2. Prepare and deliver patient and record for clinical exchange in a manner that increases efficiency for patient and clinical team. 3. Function as a team member by expanding responsibilities as directed by management to facilitate optimal workflow within the cancer center. 4. May be pulled to work at other CHC sites based on clinic and patient needs. 5. All other duties as assigned.
