Certified Medical Assistant Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical procedures, and administrative support to enhance patient experience and clinical efficiency. Duties Perform medical assisting tasks including preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Assist with phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for testing. Support wound care procedures as needed, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Provide basic life support (BLS) in emergency situations following established protocols. Support physicians and other healthcare professionals with clinical tasks and documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Proven experience in medical assisting within a clinical or medical office setting. Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and wound care procedures. Knowledge of vital signs measurement and basic life support (BLS) certification. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and communication. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with medical office operations, including scheduling, documentation, and administrative tasks. Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
