Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and temperature Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits Support documentation of patient encounters accurately using EPIC (Electronic Health Records) and ensure proper medical records management Facilitate patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care while demonstrating excellent patient service skills Manage administrative duties including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations, including handling and updating medical records efficiently Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role Familiarity with EPIC for electronic health records management and documentation accuracy Experience working in pediatrics or urgent care preferred Strong understanding of medical assisting procedures Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical records and documentation Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact patient well-being!
