Under the direct supervision of the Site Manager, this position supports medical and nursing providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Scribe Skills Preferred - or Willingness to Train A key component of this position involves medical scribing, including documenting provider-patient interactions in real time. Previous scribing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated to learn and develop these skills. Benefits and Perks Paid Time Off 8 Paid Holidays per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after 30 days Life and disability insurance Retirement plan Vendor discounts Responsibilities Include Support providers by preparing patients for examinations and procedures Collect and document vital signs and patient histories Scribe during medical examinations or complete training to become a medical scribe Ensure examination rooms and medical equipment are properly maintained Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information Contribute to quality initiatives and organizational standards, including QA/PI, HEDIS, PCMH, and other accreditation requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current Medical Assistant certification preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Basic computer and electronic health record (EHR) skills Working knowledge of insurance types is a plus Desired Skills and Attributes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to document accurately and efficiently Detail-oriented with a team-first attitude Strong interest in clinical documentation and patient-centered care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
