Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work closely with our pediatrician and clinical staff to deliver high-quality direct patient care, support clinic workflow, and ensure a welcoming experience for children and parents alike.

Key Responsibilities Patient Intake & Vitals:

Room pediatric patients, obtain accurate vital signs, height/weight measurements, growth chart plotting, and medical histories.

Clinical Support:

Assist the physician with physical exams, developmental screenings, and minor clinical procedures.

Immunizations & Injections:

Prepare and administer pediatric vaccines, medications, and treatments accurately under provider guidance.

Lab Work & Testing:

Perform routine in-office lab tests (e.g., rapid strep, flu, blood glucose) and handle specimen processing following safety guidelines.

EMR Documentation:

Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system in a timely manner.

Patient & Family Communication:

Provide clear instructions to parents/guardians regarding follow-up care, medication usage, and general health guidance.

Clinic Upkeep:

Prepare, clean, and sanitize exam rooms between visits; maintain stock of clinical supplies and medical equipment.

Administrative Triage:

Respond to patient portal messages, assist with prescription refill requests, and support front-desk operations as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Certification:

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certifications:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

Experience:

1+ years of clinical experience preferred; pediatric experience is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and office technology.

Soft Skills:

Outstanding bedside manner, strong communication skills, empathy, patience, attention to detail, and a positive attitude when working with children and parents.
