Job Description
Medical Assistant Petoskey Family Medicine is searching for an experienced Medical Assistant for our privately owned family medicine practice. We are searching for someone that is a hard worker, team player, and is flexible to cross train within the office. The ideal candidate would show initiative and be open to learning new things and growing as a medical professional. Must have 1 year medical office experience. Familiarity with EMR and use of technology is a must. This is a full-time position. We are not affiliated with a hospital so if you are looking to get out of the corporate world, this is a great office to be at. Job Responsibilities Include Rooming patients and taking vitals/history Chart prep Go through documents and lab results Administer immunizations as needed Schedule procedures and referrals Perform testing and process them in the lab including: Strep screens, A1c and blood glucose testing, urinalysis, EKG, influenza testing etc. Package for send out Covering for co-worker time off/vacation Benefits include: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Simple IRA with 3% match contribution after 1 year Paid time off
