As a Medical Assistant with us, you'll play a vital role in patient care, providing them with friendly and courteous assistance. Primary office would be St. Clair Shores, however, must be willing to work at all locations if needed. Our other offices are located in Roseville, Grosse Pointe, and Shelby Township.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Room patients with accurate information and on time with physician's schedule. Review medical history, take vitals and chart accurately to prepare patients for the physician visit using an EMR system. Prescreen medical history by phone taking accurate information and entering into EMR. Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked. Maintain sample supply. Work front desk check-in and phones as needed. Helping in other areas of the practice when clinic is not full.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED Previous experience with EMR systems Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant Strong computer skills Authorization to work in the U.S. Must be willing to travel to multiple locations.
