Joseph What You'll Do:
Join PACE of Southwest Michigan as a Clinic Clerk and play an important role in supporting quality care for our participants. You'll help keep the clinic running smoothly by providing organized, compassionate administrative support to our clinic team and providers. Working closely with the Clinic Supervisor, you'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and care to the people we proudly serve. 00 / hour Reporting To Amanda Paine Key Responsibilities Screen incoming phone calls, record messages, and route them to the appropriate person. Manage the clinic email inbox and route information and requests. Support providers with faxes, documents, forms, and other administrative paperwork. Manage provider schedules, including booking and adjusting appointments, maintaining schedule blocks, and communicating changes to affected staff. Prepare for upcoming appointments by confirming appointment details, identifying needed records or paperwork, and communicating scheduling needs to the clinic team. Make participant and caregiver reminder calls and communicate appointment instructions provided by the clinical team. Collaborate with external scheduling staff and transportation to coordinate appointment times, participant availability, and travel arrangements. Assist with the coordination and execution of specialty medical visits, including scheduling, confirming visit details, preparing necessary documentation, and supporting clinic flow on the day of the visit. Act as a liaison among clinic staff, providers, participants, caregivers, and other disciplines to support timely communication and follow-through. Maintain clinic inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, ordering supplies, and verifying receipt of orders. Support clinic flow by preparing and cleaning rooms, replacing linens, and assisting with other nonclinical tasks. If selected for the position you will receive a full job description. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience in a medical clerical position. High-level computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. One (1) year of experience working with the frail and elderly. Valid MI Driver's License.
