Requirements & Qualifications:

To ensure seamless clinic flow and top-tier patient safety, candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:

Certified/Registered MA:

Active CMA, RMA, CCMA or Medical Assistant Diploma.

Verifiable Experience:

1+ years of direct experience working specifically as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or urgent care setting.

EHR Proficiency:

Experience documenting patient encounters in electronic health records systems.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Patient Intake & Vitals:

Manage patient intake, collect accurate medical histories, document chief complaints, and precisely record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration).

Phlebotomy & Injections:

Perform routine venipuncture/blood draws with skill, collect laboratory specimens, and safely administer medications and injections (e.g., vaccines, intramuscular injections) as directed by providers.

Provider Support:

Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical examinations, minor procedures, and point-of-care lab testing.

Front Desk & Insurance Verification:

Greet arriving patients, perform front-desk check-in, verify insurance eligibility/benefits, collect co-pays and balances, and ensure accurate patient demographics are on file.

EHR & Documentation:

Efficiently navigate and document patient encounters in our EHR system, ensuring proper ICD coding for diagnoses.

Flow Coordination:

Maintain efficient clinic throughput by coordinating patient flow, reducing wait times, and organizing follow-up care or outpatient diagnostics (such as basic X-rays under supervision).

Compassionate Care:

Serve as the welcoming face of our clinic—answering patient questions, explaining procedures clearly, and delivering exceptional service.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
