Medical Assistant
- Catalyst Medical Clinic iHealth tuition reimbursement, 401(k), profit sharing United States, Minnesota, Chaska Aug 19, 2026 Description The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care to patients by assisting with diagnostic tests, procedures and treatments ordered by the physician in a family practice environment.
- Thursday, 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM & Friday 8:00 AM
- 1:00 PM out of our Watertown and Chaska locations.
Essential Functions:
Prepare, stock, and clean exam room Room patients and prepare for exam Maintain an efficient, organized clinical flow Gather and verify pertinent patient information; compile patient medical data Assist with documentation of patient data into chart Prep for injections, change dressings, assist with minor procedures Phlebotomy Ensure coding requirements are followed during entry of patient information Act as a prescribing delegate May also assist with any of the following: Assist Care Coordinator with patient care services Assist with medical supply inventory and ordering Screen patient calls and respond to patient in a timely manner. Document all phone messages in the patient's chart Any and all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent Medical Assistant or equivalent Clinic experience preferred Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology required Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments preferredBenefits & Compensation:
