Job Description

Aspire Women's Wellness is a boutique, specialty women's health practice. We are growing quickly and need an MA to help support our wonderful patients. Medical Assistant — Women's Health & Functional Medicine About the Role We are seeking a warm, detail-oriented, and highly organized Medical Assistant (MA) to join our boutique women's health and functional medicine practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, providing an elevated patient experience, and working in a collaborative, thoughtful clinical environment. Our practice focuses on women's health, hormone health, sexual wellness, perimenopause/menopause, endometriosis, and functional/integrative approaches to care.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Clinical Support
  • Room and prepare patients for visits
  • Obtain and document vital signs and relevant health information
  • Review medications, allergies, and medical history
  • Assist with gynecologic and women's health examinations and procedures
  • Collect and process urine, vaginal, and other appropriate specimens
  • Assist with laboratory testing and coordination of outside lab work
  • Prepare supplies and treatment rooms
  • Assist the provider with procedures as needed
  • Follow clinical protocols and maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and inventory
  • Patient Experience
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for every patient
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, labs, forms, and follow-up needs
  • Respond to patient questions within the scope of the MA role and appropriately escalate clinical concerns
  • Help patients navigate the practice and understand next steps in their care
  • Maintain a high level of discretion, empathy, and professionalism
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient visits
  • Obtain outside medical records and laboratory results
  • Support prior authorizations and pharmacy communication when appropriate
  • Keep patient charts organized and up to date
  • Assist with referrals and coordination of care
  • Maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and readiness
  • Assist with inventory ordering and tracking What We're Looking For
  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant preferred
  • Experience doing blood draws is required
  • Previous outpatient clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in women's health, gynecology, functional medicine, or a concierge practice is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Warm, compassionate, and professional bedside manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries
  • Comfortable working in a boutique, high-touch healthcare environment
  • Interest in women's health and whole-person care

You are comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with an elevated patient experience and understand that small details matter. You genuinely enjoy working with women and are interested in learning more about hormones, menopause, sexual health, pelvic health, and functional medicine.
