Job Description

Medical Records Assistant The Medical Records Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Management department. The Medical Records Assistant is responsible for answering phones, scanning/archiving medical records, assisting patients with medical records requests and patient portal access, and performing basic release of information functions and other duties as assigned. This role adheres to all patient privacy and confidentiality requirements in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies. The applicant should possess great customer service and communication skills, be a self-starter, and adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands with flexibility and professionalism. The position reports to the Health Informatics Manager. High school diploma or equivalent required. One to three years' experience desired. Why Join Us?
