Job Description

Medical Assistant As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the clinic. You will support the doctors, nurse practitioners and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. We will provide the training and support to help build your career.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
- Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced clinic
- Document medical history and update medical records accordingly
- Schedule procedures, surgeries, MRI's, etc.
- Other appropriate duties may be assigned that are not listed in the description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum one year clinical or hospital experience preferred
- Time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Detail oriented as patient data must be accurately in their record for the physicians, insurance companies and other various departments within the clinic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- This position requires frequent, prolonged periods of standing and sitting
- Must be able to maintain effective working relationship with patients, employees, providers and other medical facilities
