Position Summary The Quality Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Quality Management System, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting the design and manufacture of terminal tractors. This role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and

requirements while fostering a culture of quality excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute the plant quality strategy and annual objectives. Lead

ISO 9001

compliance, audits, corrective actions, and management reviews. Establish manufacturing quality plans, inspection standards, and control plans. Manage supplier quality systems including audits, APQP, PPAP, SCARs, and supplier performance reviews. Lead new product launch quality readiness and production validation activities. Analyze warranty, customer complaint, scrap, rework, and defect data. Facilitate root cause investigations using 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving tools. Oversee calibration, nonconforming material, and document control systems. Develop quality reporting dashboards and executive KPI reviews. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Service teams to drive continuous improvement. Lead customer audits and quality-related communications. Build and develop the quality team through coaching, training, and performance management. Key Performance Indicators First Pass Yield (FPY); Supplier PPM; Internal Defect Rate; Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ); Warranty Performance; Audit Findings Closure; Supplier Corrective Action Closure; Customer Complaint Resolution; On-Time PPAP Approval. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of manufacturing quality experience and 3-5 years of quality leadership experience. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Preferred Qualifications CQE, CQM, Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Experience in heavy equipment, industrial vehicle, automotive, truck, or off-road manufacturing environments. Domestic and international travel may be required. REQUIREMENTS
