Job description Glacier Ear, Nose & Throat in Kalispell, MT is an independently owned medical specialty clinic. We are actively seeking a professional individual to assist our providers in the clinic setting. The Clinical Assistant is key in the provider's ability to provide quality care to our patients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual who takes ownership in providing excellent patient care. This individual should possess skills and passion to assure the clinical team is highly communicative, efficient, and responsive to all aspects of patient care. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask, to communicate clearly with patients, family members, support staff, and the care team. The candidate must be efficient and thrive in an environment that requires competing priorities. Duties include assisting the provider with the clinic visit; greeting and escorting patients to the exam room with courtesy and respect; taking vital signs and assisting with minor procedures. Knowledge and use of basic sterile techniques and infection control procedures, and medical terminology are required. The candidate must accurately relay and record medical information to physician as appropriate. The Clinical Assistant also schedules appointments for outside ancillary tests/procedures, assists in scheduling minor office procedures, manages patient follow up, and maintains cleanliness of exam rooms.
