Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work collaboratively to ensure that patients receive both immediate care and ongoing treatment. Summary We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at Med First Primary & Urgent Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in a fast-paced clinic environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures as directed. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of care provided. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Support the administrative functions of the clinic, including scheduling appointments and managing office supplies. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Ability to administer medications and perform basic life support techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
