Help Wanted:
Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist. Comprehensive Rehabilitation & Pain Specialists | Outer Banks, NC | Part-Time, Up to 25 Hours per Week. Comprehensive Rehabilitation & Pain Specialists is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist to join our private medical practice in the Outer Banks, NC. This part-time position offers competitive pay for up to 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate provides excellent patient service, communicates professionally, respects patient confidentiality, and works well in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and provide courteous, professional service. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage messages. Register patients and update demographic and insurance information. Collect copays and maintain accurate records. Support efficient patient flow and assist the physician and team as needed. Maintain patient privacy and comply with office policies.
For Medical Assistant applicants:
obtain patient histories and vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and assist with clinical procedures within training and permitted scope of practice. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical office experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate. Medical Assistant diploma or certification preferred for clinical duties. Strong communication, customer service, organization, and computer skills. Ability to multitask, protect confidential information, and work effectively with patients and coworkers. Experience with electronic health records is a plus.
