Boyd's OBX Chevrolet is looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team in Kitty Hawk. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy Service Department where you'll work with a strong team, build relationships with customers, and play an important role in keeping their vehicles safely on the road. As a Service Advisor, you'll be the connection between our customers and technicians — listening to customer concerns, explaining recommended maintenance and repairs, keeping customers informed, and making sure each visit is handled professionally from start to finish. Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is preferred, but not required. If you have strong customer service skills, communicate well, stay organized, and are ready to learn, we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet customers and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns and service needs Schedule appointments and prepare accurate repair orders Explain recommended maintenance, repairs, estimates, and timelines Obtain required customer authorizations and maintain complete documentation Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicles Present and explain recommended maintenance and repair services to help customers make informed decisions Review completed work and charges with customers before vehicle delivery Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and work toward a positive resolution Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and service records Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business Follow dealership processes, company policies, and safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple customers and repair orders Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable using computers and dealership technology Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record High school diploma or equivalent preferred
