Job Description

CCHC Orthopedics Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Company Overview Coastal Carolina Health Care is a multi-specialty group practice dedicated to promoting the health of our patients by providing high-quality, compassionate, and personalized healthcare services. Summary We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedics team in New Bern, NC. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our mission to exceed patient expectations through comprehensive healthcare. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations Perform administrative tasks Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient documentation Monitor and record vital signs and patient history Provide compassionate support and education to patients regarding their treatment plans Manage patient flow Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant Required Casting and splinting experience preferred Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems Strong knowledge of basic life support techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in an orthopedic setting is a plus. Familiarity with Epic is preferred but not required.
