Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both clinic and outpatient settings, providing exceptional patient care and support. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service in a fast-paced environment. The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic, contributing to patient satisfaction and overall health outcomes. Work hours are Monday through Thursday 7AM-5:30PM. Will have to travel to our Smithfield NC office on Mondays. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks including taking vital signs and documenting patient information. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Support the management of patient records, ensuring accurate coding and documentation. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing necessary instructions. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to promote safety and efficiency Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 25% to other locations as required . Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly in dermatology Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
