Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) specializing in Family Medicine to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within a busy outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, patient-centered services across diverse medical conditions. The CMA will utilize their expertise in medical assisting, documentation, and patient care to contribute to the overall success of our family medicine practice. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, medical history, and presenting complaints accurately and efficiently. Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols. Collect specimens for laboratory testing such as phlebotomy and prepare samples for analysis. Administer medications and injections following proper protocols and ensure patient safety. Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters, update medical records, and manage documentation accurately. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling administrative tasks such as billing and coding. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance strategies. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including Basic Life Support (BLS), HIPAA, and OSHA standards. Assist with radiology procedures such as X-ray imaging when required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient settings, emergency departments, or outpatient clinics to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Required Qualifications 1-2 years of current Medical Assistant experience
  • Required AAMA or equivalent CMA certification
  • Required Certification must be in hand and uploaded with profile AHA BLS
  • Required Previous travel experience
Highly Preferred Shift Timings :
8am to 5pm Weekly schedule : 40 Hrs. per week HC1

$26.00 per hour
