Job Description

Schedule:
PT schedule, 24HPW M-F Between the hours of 8:30am-5pm
Requirements:
Medical Assistant experience preferred At least one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Prior primary care experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of EMR systems Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Professionally manage incoming calls and patient inquiries Schedule appointments and coordinate front desk activities Process referrals, authorizations, and related documentation Manage prescription refill requests in accordance with office protocols Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies Prepare and room patients for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs and patient information Administer injections as permitted by certification and training Perform in-office diagnostic testing Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
EMR systems: 1 year (Required) medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Medical administrative support: 1 year (Preferred)
