In this multifaceted role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and insurance providers, ensuring smooth communication and accurate verification of insurance coverage. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient check-ins, facilitate insurance processes with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while utilizing your customer service skills in a pleasant environment. Duties Verify patient insurance coverage by reviewing policies, managing prior authorizations, and confirming benefits on line using health insurance policies and managed care guidelines Scheduling appointments on Google Calendar and sending out appointment reminders via text messaging. Assist patients with registration, check-in procedures, efficiently and accurately. Communicate effectively with insurance companies to obtain approvals for procedures, services, or medications through insurance prior authorization processes Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries professionally while maintaining a welcoming environment. Assisting with minor office procedures including equipment sterilization. Restocking exam rooms and maintaining and ordering inventory Requirements Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is preferred Strong knowledge of health insurance policies, managed care processes, and insurance verification procedures Ability to multitask efficiently and pivot seamlessly when needed while maintaining professionalism Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing exceptional service while ensuring seamless insurance verification and administrative support.
