Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures. Perform clinical tasks. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by accurately documenting patient information and medical histories. Support patient service activities by answering questions, providing instructions on medications or procedures, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning under supervision. Maintain medical documentation and records meticulously to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital standards. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred but if no experience training will be provided. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding principles. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR/EHR management, and medical documentation practices. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement and assisting with inpatient procedures or OR activities when required. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage medical records efficiently while supporting medical office management functions. $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
