Responsibilities Welcome and check in patients Schedule new and follow-up appointments Answer phone calls and assist patients with questions Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Submit prior authorizations for medications and procedures Assist with medical billing and insurance claims Collect copays and patient balances Process referrals and medical records requests Scan, fax, and upload documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate with pharmacies, imaging centers, and referring physician offices Maintain accurate patient records Help keep the office organized and running efficiently Perform general administrative duties as needed Qualifications No experience required - we will train the right candidate Friendly, professional, and compassionate Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using computers and learning new software Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Korean-speaking preferred Medical office experience is a plus, but not required Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or medical billing is a plus Experience with EMR systems is a plus Professional Appearance & Conduct Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times Adhere to the clinic dress code and maintain excellent personal hygiene Present a warm, welcoming, and respectful attitude toward every patient and visitor Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
