Full-time Location jesrey city and saddle brook nj
Schedule:
[Monday/thjursday 8-5 and wed and friday 9-6 and rotating staurdays Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy OB/GYN medical office. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient service while efficiently handling scheduling, check-in/check-out, phone calls, insurance verification, and other front-office responsibilities. Experience in a medical office or OB/GYN setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience. Check patients in and out for appointments. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Enter and update patient information in the EMR system. Process referrals, authorizations, and medical records as needed. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other staff. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines. Assist with prescription requests and other patient communications. Keep the reception area organized and professional. Perform general administrative duties to support the office. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous medical receptionist or healthcare experience preferred. OB/GYN experience is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records (EMR). Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification preferred. Professional, compassionate, and dependable.
