Company Overview Williamsburg Pediatrics is a dedicated private pediatric practice in Linden, NJ committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare for children. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical assisting. Weekdays 10am-6pm, Fridays 10am-4pm, Sundays 10am-3pm Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs. Perform basic clinical procedures including phlebotomy, taking strep cultures, flu and COVID tests , vital signs and handling lab specimens. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately, documenting patient information, medical history, and treatment plans. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital environments. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) management. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation.
