Tuesday:

•3:00 PM Responsibilities  Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, medication lists, and chief complaints  Assist providers with examinations and procedures  Perform 12-lead EKGs  Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture  Perform IV starts and IV infusions  Administer injections and medications as directed and within applicable scope of practice  Perform point-of-care testing  Collect, label, and process laboratory specimens  Assist with wound care and dressing changes  Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms  Accurately document patient information in the EMR/EHR  Assist with prescription requests, referrals, lab results, and clinical messages  Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory  Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and patient-safety procedures  Provide professional, compassionate patient care  Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed Required Qualifications  Current CMA or CCMA certification

REQUIRED

 High school diploma or equivalent  Medical Assistant program completion preferred  Primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or outpatient experience preferred  Phlebotomy experience  EKG experience  IV infusion/IV start experience  Injection/medication administration experience  Strong computer and EMR/EHR skills  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Strong attention to detail  Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment  Dependable, punctual, professional, and patient-focused Skills Medical Assisting | Primary Care | EKG | Phlebotomy | Venipuncture | IV Infusions | IV Starts | Injections | Vital Signs | Patient Intake | Specimen Collection | Point-of-Care Testing | EMR/EHR | Computer Skills | Patient Care Compensation & Paid Time Off  Full-time position  Hourly wage commensurate with experience  After successful completion of a 3-month trial period: o 10 paid vacation days o 5 paid sick days o 1 paid personal day How to Apply Qualified candidates should email their resume and current
